Still searching for my missing bikes from BITD. 1979 Blue Max serial: CI9 221346 and 1977 Webco serial: 42667. Both were last seen at Spoke and Sport Bicycles in Spokane, WA around 1984. $600 reward if found!!

When I find a part i need for something I am putting together and I have no trust as to weather the part is 30 years old or 30 days old and I'm being charged a price on par with the real genuine and true item. I not only have to question the logic of people with your mind set but the state of the whole hobby in general. That is more to the point why so many people that knew better just walked away. It's the same bike. Only one was ever made.

Re: 1974 Redline 24" square back

It’s all in the story but the bike shop in HB had it and I raced it in early 80shttp://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/248112/ba3520f2-2d2d-416e-b1f1-00234cd59fd05b2429c42b.png
Then later made a beach cruise out of it tell one day I saw a redline page on FB and I knew it was a 1 of 2 and asked if anyone knew what I had and bam crazy town and found out it was actually 1 of 1

Re: 1974 Redline 24" square back

Arata82 I accept your apology lol. So the bike is cool and rare this we know. All the bashing and guessing and defending on price...50k? Cash grab...25k? Realistic cash grab...15k probally yet still a stretch.  Personally after reading this from the beginning I see it as he always liked the bike until he found out how rare and valuable it is now he LOVES the bike. How about we do 20k as a group? Either 20 members at 1000 or 200 members at 100 and just gift the thing to Gary? I'm in for the first slot either price.

what do I get for 20 dollars?

Re: 1974 Redline 24" square back

Rad Mike that you kept it all these years. That is what got me back into bmx about 10 years ago.My King Sting in the garage with all top of the line parts, only Schwinn part was the frame.I found out the value,Cook Bars and slant stem, flight cranks wth Phil Spider,Phil hubs.If i did not know better i probably would have sold it for around 400 bucks. In 2000 i sold off rare Synthesizers not knowing the full value and lost out, plus my Colnago road bike for under 500.Thank God for the internet cool

Re: 1974 Redline 24" square back

It’s crazy how words get all turned around first off I was blown away at how much the bike turned out to be worth for sure no doubt. But that’s why I kept it forever. So  everyone was asking me how much it got out of hand that’s why I keep telling people way more and more the 50k was just a attempt to stop all the pm’s and such to give me time. Endless someone was to give me 50k of course lol .  I have done my research with people I trust you know who you are. I love the bmx history and most of the people I’ve meet since the bike came out .but I still fall back on my 40 year friends I grew up with racing .I think most of the guys trying to grab my bike at first didn’t  have any idea that I was at the very beginning of the cruise revolution that’s how I got the bike in the first place. Then the first gt24” soon after. So I don’t want this bike be all  caught up in BS  if you love it cool if you think I screwed you out of it by not selling it to you for $500 fine but can we be done with all the bullshit and move on I will sell it for 25k and that’s where I’m at . It’s gonna make a big difference in my life to sell it or I’m just gonna keep it and put it away for another 25 years. Sorry for the long read but just wanted everyone to know where am at and how it ended up with few  haters

I can believe your saying I posted it not knowing anything about it . I’ve always known about the bike and what it was I just posted asking if anyone knew what I had . I didn’t blast you I just reposted what you posted telling everyone you found my bike and I screwed you by not selling it to you . But by the post and all the comments everyone knew .. well let’s just say they were all on my side so I’m done with all this bs and I will never post anything about you or reply to your stuff ever again Done
