1981 Sportsworld MX121

Nice Aussie survivor

Bought in Tasmania recently; I believe this frame was made in Australia. It's a pretty low-end bike (supermarket?) but it has quality Japanese parts. The frame looks like a Mongoose (I'm not a Goose expert but that was my first impression). Looks pretty strong with that extra gusset at the bottom of the front triangle.
***UPDATE*** it now has OGK mags, a coaster brake, and CW-style bars. Yes!

Re: 1981 Sportsworld MX121

I just bought a red MX-121 that is supposedly from 1982, it is in mint unridden condition. I'm not sure on it's story at all. Maybe the original owner was that embarrassed to ride it lol
