Very nice big_smile
Let us know the height of the handlebar - looking awesome!
I also prepare myself to swap my stock handlebar against a higher one, but I'm uncertain which one/height to choose...

The handle bars I put on are 8.75. They feel perfect to me. To this day I have no idea why these manufactures are putting short handle bars on their big frame bikes! It makes zero sense to me. It actually should be just the opposite IMO. Every 24 26 or 29 bmx I purchase the first thing I change are the bars to make it feel like a normal bmx bike. The absolute worst are the SE Big Honkin bars.

Thx to let us knew your handlebar height!
29" width?

Over all, I fully agree with you!
Small Cruiser bars are a bad joke to me, too.
And those tiny peewee bars on Cruisers let you feel like sitting on a MTB and not on an "adult" BMX lol

Just because of the design:
Why do you took a Performer Bar on your SE and not on your GT?

Not sure what you are asking?

Let me try again:
I was just wondering why you use a higher new school bar for your 26" Performer instead of an old school Performer bar, like the one on your 24" SE Floval Flyer (http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/se_racing/95721).
But I think, that you will have a good reason for doing so, and I would be interested in this reason.

Really I have no good reason except for getting taller bars. I just start looking at bars and purchase the ones I think would work best on the bike.

Man,...and I thought there was a deeper reason that speaks against the obvious use of original Performer handlebars for the "adult" 26 Performer lol

I use such an old Performer bar on my other 26" Performer out of 2012

http://bmxmuseum.com/image/bmxmuseum_025992c9a751_blowup.jpg
http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/gt_bicycles/94581.

I don't know why, but the newschool handlebar looks much more harmonious on your 26" Performer than the original old Performer bar on my 26" Cruiser hmm
Regarding your photos, in fact I would say (now against better knowledge), that your handlebar appears rather 9,5" than just 8,75" heigh - strange.
But maybe the new fork has just a longer shaft, so the stem is arranged much heigher (more Spacers)?

Great color! PM me if you ever want to sell this one, as my GF and I would love it!

Edit: Never mind - I was able to find a new left over on 3/19!
