Looks good John! My favorite parts are the Snoopy valve caps! I currently have those same ones on my Black Shadow. Was it a full restore or only a deep cleaning?

Re: The "Official Unofficial Schwinn Predator" Thread
I just freshened it up and changed some parts I had.. It's a lot lighter with the freewheel Tuffs and SR tubular cranks.. The Bebe blue factory paint cleaned up and is of good quality.. The chrome or paint finish on Predators is one of the best I've seen on 80s bikes.. The paint rubbed out nice and the metallic shows in the light..

Re: The "Official Unofficial Schwinn Predator" Thread
I'm rebuilding my '87 Redstone Mags for my EX.
I'm looking at 3/8 155mm Rear and 140mm Front axles (26Tpi) from Pork Chop and thinking they'll fit but I'm not sure what size bearings I need.
Pork Chop has 5/16, 1/4, 7/32, 5/32, 1/8 and 3/16 and I have no Idea which size I need.
Does anyone here know? Thanks

🤣🤣🤣 $800 for some tires? If you're curious, the sting frame and fork is $1900, plus $475 for the handle bars. I need some of what he is smoking.

Re: The "Official Unofficial Schwinn Predator" Thread
He bought it either from Matty or someone that got it from Matty. They paid $750 now want $2500. After peeling the correct decals off. Let me get my wallet real quick.
Sorry dude, if I bought a king sting I would keep it, not trade it for a predator.

Re: The "Official Unofficial Schwinn Predator" Thread
What kinda tires is he talking about.lmao Don't even mention a brand. Like dude keep all that shit I just want the frame. If you look at the first one I posted about this, he don't offer all those parts that he offered after I said it wasn't worth it. Dude paid $750 for it with a chopped tange fork.

Been away a while... dude is trying to sell my old frame for $2500? What the hell is going on out there? I thought $750 was a 'no one would ever pay this' price

I told him I would give him $500 for just the frame. For some stupid reason he took the decals off.

Re: The "Official Unofficial Schwinn Predator" Thread
Dear god, those were the hardest part to find. I annoyed every random Joe on ePay who had monster pads or axle nuts or whatever for sale for a couple years to find those. I suppose if he had a Tange Predator the sacrifice would be worth it but sheesh. If I recall correctly I paid $425 or $450 for the frame... it's back there in the archived Swap section somewhere so $500 seems perfectly reasonable to me.

I’ve been thinking about selling my Tange Predator. When I priced my NOS Akisu one complete at $2500, several laughed. I parted the Akisu out last summer for over $3500. I wasn’t surprised…or laughing.

Yeah but yours was complete. This dude has lost his mind.lol He wants 2500 just for the frame and incorrect forks. After he took the og decals off. Prices are stupid now for no reason.

Re: The "Official Unofficial Schwinn Predator" Thread
Just picked up this frameset; a 1983 (G1182) team series. Plan is to build up a replica of my 1983 Team Alloy I raced back in the early- to mid-'80s before I built up my Patterson. Still have some of the parts from that bike that will find their way into the build.
