4 years looking, sell my bike that needed it, now two sightings within a couple months. Anyone else have any parts they need? I'll start looking, just to quit looking so you can find it

Predator Aero Seat.
Was in storage with my Jammin Jimmy Weinert for the last 40 years. Don't think the seat was what I had on the bike when I road, too good a shape to have had any hours. It must have been part of a rebuild that never happened.

Anyone have a 82 or 83 Predator Team 24 handlebar for sale in good condition? PM me please.
Unless you're dead set on originality, as an adult sized person you'll likely be unhappy with the OG bars. They're kind of narrow and have a lot of sweep pinching your elbows in as well. For my sixpence you'll find the bike more ridable with a modern clone of RL cruiser bars- they'll let you run wider modern grips for your man hands, have much less sweep than the Schwinn bars, and would have been a vintage upgrade anyway

This is so true, I loved the look of the OG bars I have, so I bought a set of bars from AL's Rapid Transit here on the Museum "Knurled 30" Al's Cruiser Bars" they fit full size grip and hands with the same great look.

Thanks for that tip because as you know I’ve also been looking to replace my set I sold to you but I will look at AL’s now.

Been a while since I looked at Al's stuff, but I think it was him who was doing the repop King Sting/CBR style bars with the droop crossbar.

Thanks for the info and advice. Makes sense. I actually threw on some new school redline cruiser v-bars in the meantime but its bothering me cause it doesnt go with the bike. Too new. Ive also considered the cw style predator bars but im not a fan of the look of the top bar being even with grip part height.
Which redline bars are you referring to?

Re: The "Official Unofficial Schwinn Predator" Thread
For casual cruising, look for something with a 6-7" rise, an inverted stem 7+. Taller will be more comfy, shorter will be more racy. Those bikes have a really small cockpit for a 24, and XL stem length, taller bar and layback post will be your best friend. Al's seems to just be doing KOS clones these days, they all look to have about the same rise but doesn't look like he has a lot fo stock.
The ones Nitto put out for the repop Kuwi cruisers they've been doing are pretty close to the look of the OG bars but I think thye have less weep-
Not recommending this vendor, just a sample listing:

Se big honkin bars are nice. I run them on my bigboy cruisers. Another good choice is the sidewinder bar.

I still have that set of bars on the cruiser. I put the Al's on another bike, and they have that same style and feel.

Even though I wish I still had them I’m ultimately glad they went with that frame to you. They should be together!
