2017 Gary Turner 24

Eddie Fiola inspired build from the BMX Action cover in January 1986.

I ordered this 24" and had a few custom features added. Craig Turner was super cool and replaced the vbrake mounts with a bridge for me. He also provided an undrilled fork with a custom serial number. This is the best bike I have. Absolutely love the merging of old and new while keeping it all GT. This build was inspired by the 24" Eddie Fiola rode in 86, and he even helped me with some component choices to make it accurate.
F/F: Gary Turner 24 custom
Wheels: GT hubs [gen 1], Araya 24x1.50HE AP-21, SE 24x2.0 tires
Drive: SR Turbox Chromoly 175, GT Power Disc 86, Tuf Neck Chainring 43t, 18t Suntour freewheel, GT Bolts, Tioga Sealed BB, KMC B/W chain, SR MTP-100 1/2"
Brake: Dia Compe MX-901, GT pads, Tech 77 lever, white housing
Seat: GT [Viscount], 25.4 micro adjust chromoly post, custom clamp
Steer: Eddie Fiola block stem, AME grips, Al's Rapid Transit Bars, Integrated headset
Pads:  Dyno
Decals: downtube is an original, fork, bar, and coins are repros

Great job! The custom touches on the f/f really add to the spirit of the theme. Kudos! cool
