Re: Todays Ride.

Took a ride down memory lane, hit my old stomping grounds. I spent a lot of time here from the 70s through the 90s. Fell in love with a Mathews Monoshock that was on the showroom floor,  later worked there

Good fathering and a talented son.  His smile says it all!  Does he have a mini yet??  smile

Thank you, very much He does have an 92 robi xl that he doesn’t know is his, but he saw it for the first time when I was sending it out to change the cranks to Gt that had just been rechromed and he said “I love the red daddy it’s so cool.”https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/223077/e8eaaf41-94a7-4ff2-b69b-d146667b7d815f2acbc9e7.jpeg
I’m looking to get him a 16”Subrosa  or Sunday. He’s a bit small for a 20” but I have eyes open for a mini.

Re: Todays Ride.

Wow that Robinson is awesome.  A Micro mini 18 would teach him speed as soon as he’s ready.  My sons could handle a 20” mini when they were 5 and about 44” tall.  At 7 and 4’ tall my oldest is ready for taller bars.  We just did 10.5 miles of paved bike trails no problem.  I got a 2017 FA Speedline Mini 20 for $125 and should be able to sell it for that when they are done with it.  Plenty of new complete mini’s for sale cheap at BMX tracks.

It’s cool to freak people out with little kids that can ride. Fun times ahead no doubt. big_smile

I have guys in my office that have told me their kids started riding without training wheels at age 8!?
It’s no reflection on the kids, it’s definitely on the parents and both of these guys are not mans men with all due respect. As soon as he’s competent and can ride without me making sure he doesn’t crash I’m going to see if he can ride my Haro FSX just to gauge his ability . I can’t thank you enough for your advice with this I would have never thought of a mini and I love the idea. Thanks  again. My son riding a bmx bike has been my life long dream and had it been a daughter she would have had to had a pink hutch, or GT.

Re: Todays Ride.

Thanks for throwing all your political BS on the bmx museum and stinking it up, now I chant . . . FDT, and that's coming from a 20+ year combat vet with spurs! Flying your rebel flag and stating you want to go backwards is the most disrespectful nazi bs and is the complete opposite of being an American. Your ancestors lost the battle, move on or move out, racism is retarded. Cha

Heres my profound, life changing statement.
Lifes a bitch..PASS ME A BEER.

They're reacting and that's wonderful. It's better than them sitting there doing nothing. I say make them react - do whatever's in your power to move the audience, and if that's where it is, and there where it is with America, sex and violence, then I say project it.
