Did you mean to try to use the word does?

Sorry, your repeated misuse of words in the English language makes it very hard to understand what you're actually trying to say.  I mean, you are even using the word does in your signature.

As others have noted, GT doesn't offer that color scheme in anything other than this 29".  Not on the 26".

And the new 20" doesn't look anything like the old Performers.  Completely different frame design with none of the old GT Performer styling.

I have a 29" SE STR and I love it.   I am 6' and 250 LBs and it rolls smooth.
the 29's are good for cruising and just messing around,  not really for extreme stuff

I think what this thread. has informed us. is these 29 tire BMX. are good for heave weight  tall people. who just cruise to the local bar or run errands. like pedal to the post office. but for any other type of bike activity they kinda stink!lol + there are already better bikes out for every type of bike riding even just cruising.

FOR SURE - if you're old school BMX , its 20s and 24s all day - i'm 6-3 and 230lbs - i've ridden most of the 4130 SUBWAY SERIES rides on my 20s - no problem - the 24s (and i have 5) are a little more civilized for my size but screw it,i'm old school BMX all day - 20s baby - PUT THE EFFORT IN AND DONT BE LAZY

I'm 48 & my right knee reminds me of it every day.  It's not a matter of lazy, it's a matter of pain.

I like the parts and have been waiting for a 24" GT pp or pft.... but it's always the 26 and 29.   sad   JUST TOO BIG!  It limits about half my riding and really cant get on board with it

I agree with you on the 24" Pro Performer or Pro Freestyle Tour, I really have my fingers crossed for the 2019 line up. It finally seems that GT is getting more involved with the retros! As for the 29", I know its big but it's very comfortable for the long rides!

Re: 2018 GT Pro Performer 29" BMX Bike ?! too big?

a 29" is not something that should be meant to be a BMX bike..
to me a 20" 22" and a 24" should be considered BMX.. and the KOS cruiser...

anything over that size should be considered a tank or a beach cruiser IMHO even a 26 is huge for the norm if your not 6 feet tall and weren't we going for lightness back in the day? try a 45 pound 29'er  lol

I can pretty well assure you that no ones expecting anything out of a 29" except cruising and a bit of curb jumping. The people purchasing them are aware their not meant to be a true BMX. They're just made to have some fun!wink

Re: 2018 GT Pro Performer 29" BMX Bike ?! too big?

I got a 29 that I truly love. Every bike has a intended use. The 29” is a great rider. I try to get about 12 miles a day in on mine. I stick to the roads and light trails. I like its extra weight due to the fact that I want to burn the calories. http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/252748/image5b4f140b04.jpg
