Re: Midschool Mongoose Thread

Lovely DMC. I think there are like three Mongeese? that stuck out for me during the mid school. The Supergoose/SGX (total marmite) the Fuzz and the DMC.

Re: Midschool Mongoose Thread

Those threadless DMC are 97 models.

I had a 95 Expert and a 95 Villain, but sold them, the bikes I really want are a 97 DMC, and 97 Expert Pro. They are the only model that have the old styling and are threadless. 98 They go to that weird dropout style. Then what, the year or two they became walmart junk?

Collection Complete. If you want to see my actual bikes http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=633623. I stopped adding to MY BIKES because of hassle of uploading

HuffyRider87 claims I'm a 'seathole' because he low-balled me on a bike, claiming its worth nothing and 'just a Huffy' and I told his ass whats up. Just a Huffy you wanted, and dont have. LOL.

I stand corrected!

That particular one you see had a build date of October 96, so yeah that would have been made for 97.

The second 95 i posted earlier had a serial number from june 1994.

That one was a complete factory survivor, aside from the tires and chain.

Re: Midschool Mongoose Thread

I dragged home a midschool Stylist Pro years ago, overhauled it and gave it to a neighbor kid, ended up dragging the remains of it home a few years later, and gave it to a second neighbor kid.

http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/ff493/randolphcarter2112/IMG_1840.jpg

This is one of the few project bikes of mine that I never rode, and also one where someone else finished the work.  The neighbors put all new parts on it, including a set of 3 piece cranks.

These bikes are definitely underappreciated.
