1990 GT Vertigo

$10 survivor

spent 18 gallons of gas because of a vauge craigslist add and a really blury picture...everything is totally original, and in pretty good shape...was hoping for a pro performer but still not bad for 18 gallons of gas and a ten dollar bill.

I'll double check the serial, but I'm remembering it being an earlier 90 serial.

here's the 91 ad i posted.
the vertigo decal on the downtube is same as yours and 91 came with the bashguard from the factory.
here's a link to a stock 90 vertigo.

Re: 1990 GT Vertigo

the stickers are for sure 91 model year, if they are original then the bike is a 91,, It could have 90 serial but that would just make the bike an early 91 or it was a left over frame....

Re: 1990 GT Vertigo

serial # gh9007xxxx

From what I can figure, it's a July of 90 Vertigo.  serial# is on drop out, so maybe us made vertigo's switched model style in 90 1/2?

Awesome score, Reliot! :D That 18 gallons is worth it! Did you drive far, or just have a V8?

Round trip was about 205 miles with a straight 6 that needed some serious tuning.

gdi it's not a 91, serial says frame was built july 90.

drop outs are 3/8th

and I don't care if it was sold as a 91, it was still made early enough in 90 to be called a 90.
