1982 Skyway T/A

One of the earliest known TA's with Nickel Plated team forks, these are just one of 5 sets made for Bob, Andy & Cheri..

My fave TA in the dungeon.
This 82 Frame still has the original chrome, not a dent or dash of rust to be seen. The forks are one of just 5 sets made for the team in 83, OG nickel plated with solid dropouts.# - EVERY single component mounted to this build was brand new, never mounted or still in the box, nothing used, nothing restored.
Frame - Skyway 1982 (k0069).Forks - Skyway.Stem - Early 1st Gen DK Pro.Bars - Galindo.Grips - Tange.Lever - Tech III.Caliper - MX1000.Pads - Skyway Pro Finned.Seat n Post - Uni Hammerhead.Clamp - Addicks.Cranks - Takagai 1pc.Pedals - Skyway Graphites.Chainring, Spider n Bolts - Addicks.Wheels - Weinman (7b style) with early (not reproduced) Bullseye Hubs n Asahi SS Spokes.Tires - Carlisle MX300.Pads - Kashimax Snaps.Plate - Unknown, was Jeff Ruminer's actual race plate handed to me.

Re: 1982 Skyway T/A

Possibly one of the most aggressive looking builds I've ever seen. I haven't been impressed with a T/A in a long long time. Very well built. ANd that Kashimax pad just puts it over the top!

Re: 1982 Skyway T/A

Bold departure from T/A builds.  I like the use of black parts- especially the OPC.

The wheels remind me of the NBA Play Off black sox/shoes the Jordan era Chicago Bulls used to wear.
