Re: Vintage mountain bikes.Whos gottem??

My 1981 Tom Ritchey Everest 100% original except for the tires. I got this from the original owner who has been my good friend since 81. He purchased it from Tom Ritchey who he`s still friends with oil this day in 81. The bike has been and still is in the San Francisco bay area it`s whole life and was ordered from Tom Ritchey with all of the best parts he offered for the Everest including the Titron pedals which were an original option for the Everest model.

Of course the bike is awesome, but it’s when a bike has that kind of history that you truly have something special.  Good stuff, D.

Those pedals, Wow. Titron if I'm not mistaken? I was looking for a set of those for my '83 Everest. I searched until I found a set that was for sale.... When I saw what they sold for I settled for XC II's. That bike is dripping with history. Excellent work. Thanks for sharing.

I just found this one. I'm pretty sure I was the first person to ride it. The brake pads didn't have any wear at all. Shes super clean.

Re: Vintage mountain bikes.Whos gottem??

So I pulled these off a Raleigh with gripshift. And STX drivetrain. Never seen these before, as they have no markings except “Made in USA”. Has anyone ever seen these? I don’t run gripshift so I will prob be discarding them, just curious about their manufacturer. http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/241558/4bed7f56-ed2d-4e48-9628-db6f06ec59a75e4b28fd11.jpeg

Re: Vintage mountain bikes.Whos gottem??

Found this on my way to work this morning. Tom Teesdale made Dean Jester. I already have one in my collection, guess it’s nice to add another. I emailed Dean years ago and these were limited edition team issue frames. The serial number is only 12 apart from my other!

Also have a guy dropping off another sweet addition to the collection at my shop sometime this afternoon tongue

Not exactly sure of the year but this is a late 90s Living Xtreme frame my wife still had when I met her. I did have to have a repair behind the BB but hasn't been ridden for years. Not sure if many of you will remember the ads in MBAction back in the late 90s. If I can look thru some of my mags, I'll see if I can scan one to post. Still a rare brand that survived…
