Any love for trials? Picked up this Japan-made Ibis Mt. Trials a while back. It's supposed to a be trials bike that you could still ride tech trails on. 24" rear/26" front. I've since put riser Profile Designs DH bars, ditched the bar ends, and put a period correct Specialized seat on it.  https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-image … 4b83bf.jpg

Very interesting, wheel size and forks, is the gearing much different than a common mountain bike?

The gearing is the same basically. You'll see it still has the triple ring up front. I'm going to drop it down to a 1x to make it more trialsy

Today’s score! yikesbig_smileyikesbig_smile
Totally stoked on the Dekerf, seller reached out to me with the litespeed. Then after a few messages he mentions the Dekerf and my jaw dropped once I seen the picture. Then when he told me the package deal for both the deal had to happen.

Re: Vintage mountain bikes.Whos gottem??

Both of those are sweet. He sure liked Syncros. Those are both a great addition to your stable.

Re: Vintage mountain bikes.Whos gottem??

Completely awesome scores WLB!

Congrats.

Those Syncros parts are bad ass. Black cranks have been on my wish list a long time.

What is the rear derailleur on the Obed?

Are the brakes hydraulic?

Thanks Steve!
The black syncros cracks are awesome!
The rear derailleur on the Obed is a Sachs Plasma.
Both bikes have Paul V brakes, I believe the setup in the Obed are first gen Motolites with first gen V brake levers? The ones on the Dekerf look like just like any other current motolite.

I still have this one in my box of oldies. I think it's off a 98-99 Cannondale I had.

WOW! Dekerf Reynolds 853! Nice pick ups. When are you opening the museum Mr WLB? Lol. Love steel. Picked up a rigid Fat Buckshaver recently. Will post pick tomorrow! That yellow stem on the Litespeed would look awesome on my Fat Chance! Lol

Buck Shaver looks great - love that style fork.  I just fixed up a Wicked for a 'round town bike.  I'd get rid of the plastic spoke protecter on the hub and call it done!

Probably not very collectible but couldn’t pass this up.

All original but the seat, 1985 DB Fleet Streak

Re: Vintage mountain bikes.Whos gottem??

I have a 1990's control tech stem and ritchey bar ends if someone needs older mtb stuff.
Couple mtb bontrager bars.

Would like lots of bikes but the SE Hauler is one that has a lot of sentimental value to me. Anyone got one?
