Re: Vintage mountain bikes.Whos gottem??

I'm in.  Nice GF there.  I used to have this 1992 Paramount Series 90 with original Rock Shox...
http://i856.photobucket.com/albums/ab123/soulman73/7-7-10005.jpg
Sold it a couple of years ago because I needed to add to my USA-made fleet.  I bought this 1998 Schwinn Homegrown
LX/XT off of my buddy, Advan, this past August...
http://i856.photobucket.com/albums/ab123/soulman73/1005141713.jpg
It's my grail mountain bike, and I had wanted one since they were introduced in 1995.  I am SOOOOOO stoked.  Thanks again, Jim!

You know it does.  Bass Boat Red, baby!  Check out the seat...

Plus Rock Shox Judy forks.  Been wanting a set for as long as I wanted the bike!  Also, check out the Mavic rims...

I used to have a Ross Mt. Washington BITD, then a Giant Iguana.  Nothing really special about either one and no pictures, but they sure helped me enjoy the trails.

Have had her since new. Bought her a couple of hours after I signed my first employment contract that paid me a yearly salary smile

'97 Cannondale F1000 / Medium / Mango color / Made in USA (saddle, peddles and tires not original - still have the original parts though).

Notice the cranks, they are made from one piece of billet aluminum cool

Re: Vintage mountain bikes.Whos gottem??

Fat Chance built with xtr m900, grafton cranks, velocity rims laced to ringle hubs, irc yeti tires, klein carbon bars. Killer retro build.

Bought this frame from craigslist, never seen one, can't find much info about them. But built it up with mostly blue ringle stuff, kooka cranks, xtr m952, amp suspension fork.

This is my Dad's Schwinn Sierra I restored a couple years ago. Only things replaced were grips, tires, and new cables in the original housing. It has the oval Bio-Pace chainring on the front.

Here is my 1990? Gary Fisher Hoo Koo E Koo I bought new. I quickly destroyed the factory Suntour cassette rear hub. So I fell back on my BMX knowledge base and ordered Bullseye hubs.  Gave this bike to my brother in 2000 when I bought the Specialized shown below. 2000 Rockhopper. He never used the GF and I got it back last year. (future project?)

Re: Vintage mountain bikes.Whos gottem??

I'm not sure if this qualifies as "vintage" but this is my baby....been thrashing this thing since 1995.  I remember I used my entire tax return check to buy this bike for about $500 bitd.  I still ride the hell out of this thing.  Besides flat tires, I've never had anything go wrong with this bike.  Sorry about crappy pics.  Winter garage pics...

Cool, I'd like to see it. The Ridge Runner was 83-84 though. Considered the first mass produced MTB in a lot of circles. I need a fork repair on mine, the headset ripped the top 4 or 5 threads off sad
