1982 Hutch Pro Racer

A very rare gift from a very dear friend.  I will build it up someday and do him proud!!

So far all I have are the frame, fork, pedals, seat, and grips.  I have a lot of work to do to get this baby up and riding!

There's a lot to do, but what a great start already.

Re: 1982 Hutch Pro Racer

One of the first things I need to get is a very long seat post clamp.  It will not be Hutch obviously buy there was a post stuck in there and so there is a very long cut that was made to get the post out.  So I am thinking of a clamp somewhat like this.  https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/214321/kris-holm-seat-clamps58e2d1d98b.jpg

Re: 1982 Hutch Pro Racer

Consider a double clamp GT. It's two different diameters. 1" and 7/8". The bottom part clamps the seat tube and the top clamps the seatpost.

Thanks for the opinion!!  I think someone else suggested that at one point.
