Feeling pretty good I just sold my big daddy back to the original owner today. I bought it off him back around 1995 he needed money to pay legal fees, we were not the best behaved kids back then lol. I sold it probably around 1996-97 and it disappear until five or so years ago when I ran into the guy I sold it to. I gave it to him for pretty much what I have into it which is about what the super pros are worth on it lol

Re: HOFFMAN'S GO HERE! hoffman thread....

I have never had a Hoffman but when I found out about the Flash I wanted one. That one is awesome! Other than the seat, that's very close to my Holmes - Limo - Challenger setups.

Re: HOFFMAN'S GO HERE! hoffman thread....

Man...you guys suck, lol. Seeing this thread makes me want to dig out my old Condor and Flash that are buried in my basement currently.  I know the Condor needs a set of cranks on it since I put those Profiles on my FA Limo and the Flash is also missing its crankset.  I have the Technique crankset that was originally installed on the Flash BITD so in theory I could throw them back on it and call it complete assuming I didn't pull anything else from it that I don't recall.

Re: HOFFMAN'S GO HERE! hoffman thread....

I'll give it a try.  I should have some free time later this evening to see if I can get to them.  Doing a gut/remodel on the entire upstairs bedroom required everything to get moved to the basement, which is not large, lol.  Got a few things in the way ;)

Re: HOFFMAN'S GO HERE! hoffman thread....

I managed to dig them out.  Forgot I had the Torker MX and Mongoose FS-1 packed in with them and the pegs on the 'Goose and Condor were all tangled up in the wheels, lol..  Gave them a quick cleanup and some Nevr-Dull on the Condor to try and make them somewhat presentable.  I didn't realize just how dirty they have gotten from sitting so long.

Re: HOFFMAN'S GO HERE! hoffman thread....

The wheels on the Condor came off of a newer (2001??) Condor that I got 95% complete while I was working at a bike shop back in the day.  Kid brought it in and I let him trade it for a new GT.  They are the Gack sealed wheels with Girthy hubs.  3/8" front axle and 14mm rear.

And no, I am not dragging the other Condor out of the garage rafters tonight since it's currently 9*.  If it warms up enough tomorrow I'll see about getting it down.

Re: HOFFMAN'S GO HERE! hoffman thread....

Any opinions about the Condor 26-inch?  I love how true it looks to 20-inch proportions.  But I'm surprised to see the wheels have single-wall rims.

Re: HOFFMAN'S GO HERE! hoffman thread....

Hey there, going kind of crazy looking for an HB seat I had back in like 1999. From what I can tell it was the standard Condor seat from that time but was in blue/gray glitter, similar to the 99 Haro Mirra seat. The closest I've found is this: https://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/hoffman/70069, which has the same shape but not the right colors. There is also a red glitter teardrop style one like the EKs had, but mine was definitely the Condor shape. I can't find any traces/pictures/references to this anywhere so I would love to see some pics if anyone still has one.
