Re: HOFFMAN'S GO HERE! hoffman thread....

So I caved and grabbed one of the new "Big'r Daddys". I rarely ride anything over 19" for flatland, but I rode my friends last weekend and it felt somewhat OK. Maiden voyage is tomorrow morning! Can't wait to try it out!https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/17430/c41be7ec-3404-447e-8e6e-67d4450e8d525e477f42a7.jpeg

Is the new Big Daddy good for all around riding like dirt jumps, ramps and street? Or purely flatland specific geometry?

it depends on ride. I tried miled street riding with mini did not love it. but could be my parts i used or frame size I picked.

Re: HOFFMAN'S GO HERE! hoffman thread....

Went to the swap meet in Westford Ma today, and scored! I had found a set of love handles locally and was meeting Tom there to purchase them. So I bought first gen Taiwan love handles that are mint! But, when I got there I found a set of ramp room love handles in amazing condition, so of course I had to snag them. Also walking around, I found a 97 Taj with 1” threadless superforks. Unfortunately the forks are bent, but the stem isn’t too bad and the whole headset is there. Not sure what I’ll do with it, but the wife isn’t happy I came home with more than I left with????

Also scored a super clean 1” chrome primo rod, and a clean set of 175 mm profiles! My Eastern Commando is coming together

Re: HOFFMAN'S GO HERE! hoffman thread....

Hi guys. Stressing, need help with clear (dumbed down) answers..please.

#1. Can someone get me in touch with the German member that built the SCHAUFF PUNISHER REPLICA?
https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/36359/17265680_1236294129818287_7313294814970118144_n5bee7acc29-15e4f6992d4.jpg

#2. Can someone tell me if this is a "screw on " cap?
Or
"screw IN" compression cap?
https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/36359/20200220_2355085e4f686c5d.jpg

Or
THIS?
https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/36359/20200220_2300175e4f6b0662.jpg

#4. Which of these two forks will work with the ep stem and cap (which I think is on PUNISHER)

That German build is so similar to mine. Spooky.

And yes as far as we know it was the Superfork/Bomberman stem combo Jay used.

Beast - neither of those forks are like Jay's Punisher. (they both have 990 mounts.) I'm not even sure the forks on the right are Hoffman's... those are 2Hip Supernaturals, no?
