The new bars should be offered in clear raw as a option.

Re: HOFFMAN'S GO HERE! hoffman thread....

The tweak to the new LH bars is nice. Got the risers more vertical and proportions similar to the OG's. I kind of like the longer gussets to keep that curve illusion on the top side.

Re: HOFFMAN'S GO HERE! hoffman thread....

Looks like they definitely tweaked them to me. The new pic looks much better. I hadn’t planned to buy the Low Drags with gussets version but I’d pick up the new ones for sure.

Re: HOFFMAN'S GO HERE! hoffman thread....

The biggest indicator of tweaking the design is in the joint where the gusset meets the cross bar. Rather than almost covering the cross bar with the gusset, it looks more like a V joint. Much better. The grip tubes are also tucked back so they flow more with the shape. Lots of tweeks, but they work better.

I imagine the original design from  the 90's went through some of these type of adjustments too. Kind of complicated the way the pieces fit.

The first picture was just s drawing of what mat was sort of looking for I believe.  It appeared that he just took the low drags and added gussets just to give the welder an idea of what to do.

They are 1" upper and sides like the original ones.  They do appear to be smooshed a little, my guess is to fit them to the 7/8' lower cross bar.

Re: HOFFMAN'S GO HERE! hoffman thread....

Something i picked up recently.... i shouldn't be so happy to have obtained a 25 year old cardboard box... haha.  94 Big Daddy forks original box. Just thought i'd share it, as i'd never seen one of these before.  I'd seen the later packaging, the 95 ish ones.
