1985 GT Performer

I  bought this from the original owner. This is a super well taken care of bike. The Skyways, Tuf Neck chain ring and spider were added almost immediately after purchase. The bike was ridden very little over the past 30 years and mostly resided in the owners basement. It is an early Japanese Performer with the often discarded white GT Pro BMX bars.

Re: 1985 GT Performer

Sooooo nice you were able to bring this back into the light after all those years.  I had a yellow GT Performer when I was a kid that got stolen and I was so bummed.  Every time I see 85 Performers they bring back a ton of great memories I had with that bike.  Thanks for posting.

Had the white on white version of this.  Same bars.  Mowed lawns to buy a mallet stem and was determined to turn it into a pro.

For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person--though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die-- but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Re: 1985 GT Performer

I think it is cool that it stayed basically unmolested all these years.
