Garcia_58

I just thought i would share a small story and to say thanks to a true Gent of the OSBMX community.

So back in 2014 I saw something I would have liked to have in the "pay it forward" section from Garcia_58. I messaged him and all was good. The item arrived safe and sound in South Africa. Never would I have thought that Garcia_58 would form a big part in my hobby. Since then we have become cyber buddies...chatting from time to time...Then being that in South Africa we are not exposed to soooo much good parts for my BMX craving I asked him to do me a couple of favours which was to accept parcels that are bought abroad whereby the sellers would not ship over (must be trust issues?). He gladly assisted me always without hesitation. At times I felt i was taking advantage of him but he assured me that it was never a problem. At this point I really knew his character and his passion to help others.

Then in November 2015 I found something on Ebay I would really like...I was hesitant of asking anyone to assist me due to it being such a big item. I then just thought let me ask...you know you wont know if you dont ask...He once again without hesitation offered to assist me...baring in mind that this big item needed to be stripped and sent individually so that I can save a big on shipping as the quotes was hugely expensive. I almost gave up hope in getting it due to the quotation of the shipping. But never the less...since November 2015, Garcia_58 helped me ship a full bike in pieces which became affordable for me at the end of the day. Bits and pieces arrived and all so well packaged.

Today marks the final day of my wait for the missing piece of my Mongoose collection to arrive. Once again all well packed and the fastest shipping ever. It was sent on Friday past and I collected it at the Fedex depot first time this morning.

Will all of this background as to where it started and where the friendship will not end...I would like to say THANK YOU ARMY...Your efforts and willingness to help someone you have never met was and is always highly appreciated. I owe you big time for housing this bike all this time (I should have paid rent LOL) as well as putting in the time and effort to ship each piece economically to me...I am truly grateful to you for doing what you did for me.

Thanks to BMXMUSEUM.com for bringing people together from all sectors of the world. If it were not for this board i would never had met (cyberly) some of the people I call FRIENDS today.

A thread like this is does require some pictures right?

Well this is the final piece of the entire bike that arrived today:

Re: Garcia_58

Amazing cool

I bought the two most important parts of my bike from U.S members. Both very accommodating and super helpful. Without them the chances of me building my stolen bike would have been pretty much zero.

That's a hella nice bike too, BTW. Never heard of it before !

Garcia's a good guy.. and this is such a great story of camaraderie. In a sea of callouts and bad dealings, it's so refreshing to see some members stepping up, providing a fresh atmosphere of trust and kindness.

Collection Complete. If you want to see my actual bikes http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=633623. I stopped adding to MY BIKES because of hassle of uploading

HuffyRider87 claims I'm a 'seathole' because he low-balled me on a bike, claiming its worth nothing and 'just a Huffy' and I told his ass whats up. Just a Huffy you wanted, and dont have. LOL.
