hahahhahaha!!! i am a peace loving, well armed, pacifist. i really trimmed that collection down in the past few years. too expensive to feed those things. i never had any full auto stuff, but i thats a real suppresser, and i have one for one of my ak's also. fun fun!!! almost as expensive as restoring old bikes, but not near as addictive.
my kids like to shoot, and we ride dirtbikes too. i'm loving the bmx though, like going back in time, and sharing i with my kids is the icing on the cake!

Re: So, what else do you collect?

Some Antique fishing Lures..Heddon Crazy Crawlers, etc.
But mostly Sports memoribilia, LOTS of Football memoribilia..Strahan, Tiki, Game Used Giants Jerseys, Roscoe Parrish Game used Miami Hurricanes Orange bowl Jersey, Mo Sikes Games used canes Sugar bowl jersey, Vilma & Shockey game used canes jersey.. I had them all signed by the players too at signings training camp, etc.  a few 100 signed mini helmets, a dozen full sized pro helmets signed by players such as Favre, Tomlinson, Simms, Eli, The real LT, Shockey, Reggie Wayne, Marino, Montana, Gifford, etc.  A lot of other signed stuff too.  I enjoy meeting the guys and collecting the stuff.
I used to spend a lot of time ordering declas and parts to make the full-size helmets exactly like the ones the players wore, and it made it more interesting when the players would sign the stuff.  Some were really cool, like "wow, this is pretty cool, you did this up nice", while others that I PAID to meet at signings,  (cough..L.Tomlinson...cough) barely looked at the helmet I spent a ton of time and money on and didnt say a word...

Re: So, what else do you collect?

He calls in my parents. Turns out this principal is a religious fanatic, and he thinks I'm possessed by some sort of d*ck devil. My parents go make me see some and he's asking me all these d*ck questions. They literally stopped me from eating foods that were shaped like d*cks. No hot dogs, no popsicles... You know how many foods are shaped like d*cks? The best kinds.

LOL.... I just read this on Trk2Ajk signature line...  What a great movie!  I am going to make sure I watch that this weekend.  I remember being in the movie and spitting my soda out when they showed the papers with all the d*cks drawn on it laughing so hard..

oldschoolcolo, I love the furniture! I have a decent sunglass collection, some comics, T-shirts, lots of art books, but my main "obsession" other than bikes is BBQ, so I have 5-6 grills/smokers . Check my bbq site... wwwstr8smokin.com

You may be interested in this:

In HS, one of our guidance counselors was none other than Tom Parks - Duncan Yo-Yo world champion!  He gave me several yo-yos and a bag of strings.  I learned most of his tricks too, including the "Magic Triangle". smile

mcseforsale wrote:

OK, Chromey...here's but a taste of what I can find.  It's about half of them.  Eventually, I'ma gonna fix up the office and hang the PWT in there and change the border.  Then, I plan on putting all the yo's on display.

In the garage, while paint is drying, etc:

http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p191 … C01771.jpg

These are the most played.  Purple Custom Yoyo Chain Reactor (I also have a rootbeer colored reactor, wich is not a butterfly shape).  The only problem with the aluminum yo's is when they hit you in the wrist, it breaks blood vessels.  But they spin forever.  Next is a collectible Vision Streetwear yo.  It's a Tom Kuhn laminate yo.  Then there's an old-school Bumblebee GT.

Next, the kitchen yo.  I use it for when I'm at the grill...waiting for the burgers to flip.  It's a new brand of yo that I've forgotten:

http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p191 … C01772.jpg

Dresser drawer yos.  These are just some that I've picked up over the years.  Some are collectible, some I give away to kids who see me yo and want to try:

http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p191 … C01773.jpg

Finally, the office yos.  This is a hodgepodge of them all.  First one from the left is the original addiction yo.  It's a yomega fireball in clear/blue.  It's really nice for a sleeve yo.  There's also a Tom Kuhn Appollo in there (the multi-color laminate) that when it spins it turns a milky white color...wierd!

http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p191 … C01774.jpg

More office yo's.  Original competition ProYo on the left, then some McDonald's Yomega's that I originally had all of.  They're not bad players...sleeved, not bearings.  Then some no-names that are good players.

http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p191 … C01775.jpg

One that I found on the floor in the office.  Little man must've found it.

http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p191 … C01776.jpg

And, my oldest Matchbox.  I have a 48 case of them from the 70s.  Don't know what they're worth, but there's some interesting ones.  This one is called "stake truck" and is part of series #4.

http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p191 … C01778.jpg

There's another box of yo's hanging around here somewhere.  It's a fun hobby in that there's actually an activity involved (learning tricks, etc) along with collecting.

Re: So, what else do you collect?

OK, it's official.  I'm building a MAME cabinet big_smile .  Got the OK from the wife (she grew up with pinball, pool, and video games in her basement) and I've got some parts coming.  I've worked out the computer/monitor angle and the cabinet shouldn't be too complex for me.

Just got to sell the leather couch/loveseat/ottomen in the basement playroom to make room for the MAME and my boy's new train table.

Re: So, what else do you collect?

Musclecar bodied hotwheels, (5-6 thousand), vinyl records (started in 1975), high end stereo equipment, old model cars built and unbuilt, blank unused type two and metal cassette tapes and high end decks, other stuff.

My favorite though is ex girlfriends, I lived in Dutch Harbor Alaska during the 80's where you never lose your girlfriend, you just lose your turn, came back 20 years ago and started making up for lost time.

My favorite word, "Next!", face it , I'm a slut, somebody has to do it, and there's never a shortage here on the mainland!.
