Whoa whoa whoa, Miss Lippy! The part of the story I don't like is that the little boy gave up looking for Happy after an hour! He didn't put posters up or anything, he just sat on the porch like a goon and waited! That little boy's gotta think 'You got a pet. You got a responsibility!' If your dog is lost you don't look for an hour then call it quits! You get your ass out there and you find that fu*king dog!!! (Billy Madison)

I know the feeling!  I come from the Arizona Desert most of my life, and being here in Florida over the past 7 or 8 years kills me.

11O' degrees in the desert with 0% humidity is wayyyy more bearable , except in Monsoon Season smile

Anything over 85' degrees in Florida with 75% to 100% humidity is just draining and unbearable.

Somebody decided for a 3 ton heat pump in this house and it barely keeps up during the hot months here.  It runs over 300 days out of the year keeping the humidity inside below 50% .  Due for a new central air system , I am gonna get at least a 4 ton this time around.  3 ton was installed 13 years ago an it always sucked.

I ran a large dehumidifier in the office/outbuilding we have , it cost $100.00 a month and I had to empty it every day!
Stuck in a new 15,000 btu window a/c with all the latest tricks in it and it runs 24/7 and keeps the 450 sq foot building very dry and very cold for $75.00 a month , and I do not have to mess with it! Bye Bye mold smile

Exactly! I lived in Tucson for 6 years and felt great all the time! Moved back to Michigan around a protected Wetland and the humidity is literally choking me out! I have only ran it for about 2 hours and it’s dropped the percentage from 55 to 45 and there’s already about 30 ounces of water. My ac unit struggles when it gets super humid so I figured this might help it out and help me out at the same time smile so far so good! Not that loud either… that was my biggest fear cause it’s in our living room slash bedroom lol… don’t need to feel like I’m sleeping on an airport tarmac lol

Re: Post a pic of your last purchase.

Freaking lawnmower broke just enough I had to fix it.

Rear chute door cable broke, can live with that.

Safety kill switch handle cable broke, bypassed that.  Pull spark plug wire to kill it smile

Last straw is the self propel cable broke yesterday and I had to push it around manually hmm

Being fat, old and lazy it about killed me to mow just the front yard in this Florida heat.

70 bucks for all three cables is plain crazy for a 15 year old Craftsman lawn mower.

Fixed all 3 cables for $9.59 , and I did not have to leave the house to get parts, and got next day to my door. cool
