1984 Haro Master

Haro Master with baby blue custom paint

Bought this frame from a friend in 1984. It was originally white, and the stickers were messed up and paint was chipped, so I repainted it with a custom baby blue and a few rad stickers. This is, unfortunately, the only pic I have of the bike except for maybe one more of me riding it, but I will have to dig around at my parents' house in the photo albums to see if I can find it! Once I had it all finished, it had all white parts, including white brake cables, white ACS rims with white hubs, white tires...man it was sweet. I rode it around the Jersey shore through most of the 80s and then I sold it off to get money to buy my white Hutch Pro Racer. I was never really very good at flatland to begin with! At the time, my other ride was a Skyway T/A (also all-white; I had a white obsession, I guess).

Re: 1984 Haro Master

I think that might be an 1983 Master, no tapered tubing in the rear, coaster brake bracket is on the underside of the chainstay also. Not pos. but pretty sure this is a Torker produced 82' or 83' any way you slice this one... IT's STILL AWESOME!!!!!

Re: 1984 Haro Master

Its a first gen 84. The master wasnt born until January 1984. The geometry is almost identical to the 82/83 freestylers except the bb shell is now macheined and the gusset welded fully. Beauty, best frame ever released in my opinion.

Re: 1984 Haro Master

That may not be a Haro Master at all.

Looking at the coaster brake guard on the bottom... it looks EXACTLY like a General Hustler. Go check, they look alike. cool
