1992 S&M Holmes

My Best friends bike resurrected

Me and my best friend of 26 years and a very much contributing S&M Hoarder here on the Museum built this bike many years ago as it is seen here http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/sandm/47651. In 2012 tragedy struck when my friend passed away at 39 years old. Looking for anything to ease the pain of his loss I decided to build a S&M tribute bike it`s what he would have wanted. After searching for a worthy frame and coming up with nothing finally I had some luck. DrChopper had sold this bike before his passing and a member here on the museum had it that I had dealt with before and offered the frame back to me. I think the build came out really good and it was built with all period correct unrestored parts. Here`s the parts list.

BAD ASS! Nice build!

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

Re: 1992 S&M Holmes

That's okay....  Any non-site emoji or symbols will come out with "????"  If you'd like me to edit it, just let me know what.

Hutch Fun Facts: All main line Hutch's with digits only S/N (no letters or baseballs) on the rear drop outs were US made and had their dropouts stamped between late '83 and '86.  Obviously the frame manufacture would occur slightly after that, even if they just threw 'em in a bucket randomly.  There is an obvious date code in that the first 2 digits seem to be the month and the 3rd digit is pretty obviously the last digit of the year running from '83-'86.
