1987 GT Pro Performer
1987 GT Pro Performer
It's basically an '87 PP/PFT with '85 PWT decals (from AJK)...and in yellow!
I thought I'd do something different with this one. Not just with the color, but the decals as well. I really really like '85 decals. Since there was no PWT in '87, I decided to make my own. I think I had more fun putting this one together than I did my white '87 Master.

Re: 1987 GT Pro Performer
That yellow GT Pro Performer is striking! Love those GT frames. Take some outside pics of those bikes and that will really set the colors off

Re: 1987 GT Pro Performer
Nice! I did the same thing to my 87 PFT BITD! In 1988, I painted it yellow with white GT mags and black tires. The touring GT team loved it when they saw it.
There's something special about a yellow GT....maybe in reference to Eddie Fiola?????

Re: 1987 GT Pro Performer
Thanks guys! 07CARRERA, I tried taking pics of the yellow and pink GTs outside, but the colors were way off. I think its a combination of crappy camera and crappy photographer. t2jeff, this one was indeed Fiola inspired. I'll have to look for the pics i took with white mags/black tires.

Re: 1987 GT Pro Performer
In my best drooling Homer Simpson voice, "MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMm, Yellow". Very nice. My next GT will be yellow and I agree about the 85 decal style.
Since I'm here, and you're here, doesn't that make it our time?

HOT GT! I LIKE THE CONCEPT YOU CAME UP WITH. THE YELLOW LOOKS GOOD ON THAT FRAME. YOU ALWAYS SEE THE SAME COLORS(DAY-GLO PINK, BLUE, WHITE, BLACK, & CHROME). THE OLD SCHOOL STICKERS LOOK GOOD ON IT. VERY NICE!!! ALL OF YOUR BIKES LOOK COOL. I LIKE WHAT YOU DID WITH THE HARO (THE WHITE ONE). CHECK OUT MY BIKES & TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK. PEACE!!!

Thanks, Guys! I just finished a Knight Proformer in the same color. I'll submit it as soon as I take some pics.

I originally planned on using black Peregrine Masters but they are nearly impossible to find, so i decided on spokes instead
