Cool scans! Man, I wanted a Millennium Falcon so bad. I wonder how much that goes for these days.

Re: Old Dept. Store Catalog Scans

Wow there`s a flash back lol I used to look through those huge 3" thick catalogs for hours. Sears, Montgomery Wards, JC Penny`s Back in the 70`s those were the dream books for us lesser fortunate kids. Good sh!t big_smile

I was thinking much higher. You probably could have made a fortune on eBay.

Re: Old Dept. Store Catalog Scans

Look up the Murray "Kat" bikes.  King Kat, Tiger Kat and a couple of others I can't recall at the moment.   The bike shown in the ad is a rebranded Murrary or in this case it looks like un-branded.

Re: Old Dept. Store Catalog Scans

I love looking at those but I see them at his site, I hope some day he will get some more and the JC Penny's or was it Wards has cool pics of the Knight Rider toys including the Big Wheel.

Too bad they stopped them in 93 because I was looking for a 1994 catalog years ago to go with another bike I have then to find out that year wasn't available.

There is a bike in those catalogs that when I checked Sears Parts direct they had the frame still for sale brand new there which is cool especially for us that have Murray & Sears bikes as well as Huffy's

Nice cro-mo version of the Pro Lightning,  too bad it has a coaster brake and 28 hole rims.

Re: Old Dept. Store Catalog Scans

Thats crazy $350 for a milenium falcon toy?I still have a box some where with just about every Star Wars figure they put out.I forgot all about them til I saw this post.Do the figures bring any money if they aren't in the original boxes?I know there are a bunch of the little guns in there too.I also have a Hotwheels case shaped like a tire that is full of old Tyco and G-Plus slot cars and a whole box of HO trains mostly NIB.Never thought about those being collectible.Going to have to do some digging now!LOL
