1997 Firemans Texas Cruzer 26

Firemans #10

This is an early non-loop tail frame off the first run. It's a 1997 or 1998, I'm not too sure. The serial number is 010, and she still wears the original decals, although a little damaged and scratched up. I'm not sure if I should restore this frame with fresh powder coat or full on chrome or build her up as she sits. The frame is solid and straight with no repairs and only one tiny ding. What to do, what to do? One guy said I should frame the frame and hang it on the wall, but that's not an option. This is a build that's about start.

That's awesome. I have that model up here in mn. mine says 062. I ordered it new in 99 as a frameset. rides so great built tough enough to last my lifetime and maybe a couple more.

185 the only crank that really matters.

Thanks for the posts all. I'm hoping to start this build soon. I'm going with polished Profile components or chrome such as on the cranks. I'm really thinking about leaving the frame as it sits with maybe some clear coat just for protection. Only time will tell.
