1987 Western Flyer Freedom II

Original Frame,Fork and bars build

Scratches and rust but wanted to keep the original paint job and decals. Kind of a ratrod cheap build but i like it. Rides but not finished. Got one of these new in about 1987 but it was stolen shortly after. sad 30 years later decided i wanted another and found this one local. Thank's for looking.

Re: 1987 Western Flyer Freedom II

We did the "Mag" in back, "Rim" up front thing BITD,,,

"Mag" in the rear was for more strength when we were landing our "Huge" jumps... lol

Too many cool bikes out there,  not enough money in my wallet ...

Re: 1987 Western Flyer Freedom II

This rear mag flexes a lot! Can feel it in gaps between the "spokes" and i can even see it flex with pushing on it with my hand. If anyone see's this let me know about the flex. It's a sate-lite.

This thing is awesome. I made a big mistake and slept on one of these on eBay last year. Still kicking myself over it. Hopefully one pops up again sometime.

Re: 1987 Western Flyer Freedom II

To be honest I like the build but I would get a new set of skyway mags or some 36h rims

Re: 1987 Western Flyer Freedom II

I never understood the front top tube foot stands, except maybe for cherry picking or something. Still a awesome bike!!
