Dude. That Master is insane! Just when I thought I was good to go, this bike comes along. WTF? Absolutely gorgeous. I would be staring for hours :D Chalk this one up as another one of my fav's. I need to do some serious trading to get a bike like this. Well done chap!

By the way, I don't even want to see what that black Team Sport is going to look like when it's done. I don't think I'll be able to take it. Please, for all of us, put it on another site. Save us the heartache :(

Cheers 07CARRERA, I said early on I wasn't going to build this. I was just going to keep it as a NOS frame with the Haro cardboard coverings in the original box, but guys like venoms4130 & others kept harrassing me to either sell it to them or hook in and build it. Now i'm glad they did. Man if you think its hard to source parts you should live in Australia, so thanks so much for everyone who sent parts to Australia we really appreciate the time & effort you go to to help us out.

D.

Re: 1988 Haro Team Master

It pains me to see this bike.....I had the same year in the same color(toothpaste:lol:.)I still can't believe I sold that bike.:(Mine was nowhere near as immaculate as this.
I can only imagine how hard it is to collect the parts for a build like this while living in OZ.....on that note I tip my hat to you for building this bad boy.
Anyone would be hard pressed to find a sweeter 88 than this.

Re: 1988 Haro Team Master

Great job dd, I love it, I have a Haro Sport frame from 87 I build up and I am not finishedwith it, look at my bikes, I hope it will see like yours when I search bit longer for parts, this bike is like I want to have it, but this one is definetly 3 times better than mine actally, the Peregrine parts and the work on it, wow, the nicest Haro master worldwide:D, my fave.

Salutations Sylvain from Germany.

LOL Don't worry the garden took just as long, had to juggle the weekends, 1 week garden, 1 week Team Master. You know the saying "a happy wife a happy life"...

Thanks John, I remember sitting out the front of Nowra Cycles at 15 years old staring at the 88 team sport & master in the front window thinking man i'm gonna get one of those. When I saved up enough I bought an FST because it was killing me not to be riding. Anyway I have got one (20 years later). Yours will be perfect mate (like the rest of your collection)

Re: 1988 Haro Team Master

Mate, that bike is insane. Your attention to detail is unsurpassed. Well done!

You're right, building a bike up here in Australia is pretty rough. So even more props to you. Now if only mine would just decide to turn up...

Too much time, effort & frustration to part with these bikes. Their keepers mate. Thanks for the offer but I couldn't do it.
