1997 Standard STA 500

This is my first submit to the museum, it was a Craigslist find that I brought back from the dead! Sorry I dont have any before pics but as everyone knows most Mid-school bikes were hammered!

The frame was professionally modified for 14mm dropouts, blasted and powdered "Chevy Orange" and re-decaled in newer 500 stickers, the Bash forks were re-chromed, pig sealed headset, Standard polished top load stem, 1 inch Standard Strip bars, Demolition grips, Home made nylon 1 inch bar ends, Diatech lever, Odyssey slic brake cable, Diacompe 990 rear brake, 2x4 brake pads, Profile 180mm SS cranks and SS 48 hole hubs with 14mm axles front and rear, 44t Profile blackjack sprocket, Primo tenderizer pedals, KMC Kool chrome chain with a ACS 16t freewheel, Maxxiss Miracle 2.10 tires, Alex Supra "E"Black chrome triple wall hoops, stainless spokes, Primo rod seat post, Kink seat post clamp, Schwinn XS kevlar 9mm railed seat. I built this as a tribute to Midschool bikes and tried to build it as heavy duty as possible, it weighs about 42lbs!
SOLD!
