1986 Kuwahara Magician

ITS PINK!

This is an ANLUN made 1986 Kuwahara Magician.
I picked it up as a mostly original complete a few years back.  Built it up for the Spring 2016 Build Off.
Frame, fork, bars and seatpost are original paint and decals.
These parts are original to this bike.
Kuwahara stamped Anlun freestyle stemKuwahara stamped Viscount seatKuwahara stamped seatpost clampKuwahara 44 tooth Anlun chainwheel and 175 crankKuwahara front pencil pegs and rear frame standers
These are the custom touches.
NOS ACS rotor
UKIA pink shiny side rims
NOS Peregrine front pegs
KKT pedals
Suntour chainwheel
NOS Jive grips with matching Jive grip valve caps
NOS Trick tops dice cable ends
Odyssey Rx-3 levers
Odyssey 2000fs calipers rebuilt with new NOS Oddysey bolt kits
Odyssey slic cables and clear Slim by 4 pads
Odyssey Atkin tires 2.1
Slime tubes (dam goatheads)

Thank you!

It rides great and the brakes are really solid!!  However, during the build i noticed the threads on part of the rear axle were pretty chewed up.  I used caution tightening it, but it came loose during the first ride.  I attemped to tighten it down abit more and it striped out.  Oh well time for a new axle.

Yeah I'd trade having to replace an axle for a high functioning set of brakes any day of the week cool
