1977 Redline MX-II

Update. I don't own this bike anymore as i sold it years ago....doh  ; (

This is my unrestored 1977 nickel plated Redline.  I had Johnny Chopper repair the rear brake bridge b/c it was rusted out but Chopper replaced the whole section & saved the day. A big thumbs up to my bro Chopper.
The 7C hoops were originally red Ano so i restored them myself and they've come up pretty good.  This Redline rides like a dream even though its a bit small but its still one of my favs.

Re: 1977 Redline MX-II

yeah, the brake bridge had a bit of rust in it and after cleaning it up, i noticed it had eaten the metal bridge.

I had a famous bmx frame builder here in OZ called Johnny Chopper who removed the whole brake bridge and replaced it with OG tubing.  It looks mint now....

I've also sent JC my 1976 Squareback b/c it had a crack in the top seat mast and a few flat spots on the inside of the forks. Once i get both of these frame sets re-nickled .... they'll be in show condition. :)

Its all good bro...
