He's mildly active. Has a son racing now and spends lots of time with him.

Re: Frame Doc still in business?
Just had frame doc repair a frame for me. He texted me updates and he was right on with the time when he told me that he would be finished. He's repaired two frames for me and I'm happy with his work.

Re: Frame Doc still in business?
I have sent him several text messages since May 12, 2016, and he has not responded. He has had my Race Inc. frame since April 30, 2015. I can't find his website anymore either.

Re: Frame Doc still in business?
He's had some health problems. He replaced a seat tube for me, and it took about 5 months. That was a couple years ago when his health started to deteriorate. Glad he's responding to texts.

Re: Frame Doc still in business?
He's become unresponsive. Nothing against the guy, but he has two of my 26" Cruiser frames that I've been trying to recover for a while now, without any response or return answers to my calls or texts.
If anyone here knows him personally on a "LOCAL" level, could ya chime in on a solution.

Re: Frame Doc still in business?
I had him work on my haro master frame a few years ago. He did a good job and had it back to me in a couple weeks. I am only a few miles away from him.
Now, a few months ago, I emailed him for a quote on Dyno frame and he didn't reply. I txt him and asked if he is still working on frames. He did reply to the txt the next day with a yes. But then nothing...
I understand all too well about health issues.
If it would help I can see if I can help get your frames packed up and shipped back if that is an issue for him.

Re: Frame Doc still in business?
He told me he isn't taking any work for a few years! He's had my frame for almost a year now! I have to be patient... His son is racing now and doing very good. Always racing every weekend and sometimes out of state!
The way he sees it is he can't ever get time well spent with his son back. Though he told me his passion is building and repairing frames... he said once his kids get older he'll get back to working on frames again.. He is very hard to get ahold of and is busy at his day job!
I have to say I'd love to get my frame fixed but I do understand where he is coming from
Good things come to those who wait..

If you can get your frames back I know of two local frame builders who can fix anything with quick turn around.
Still searching for my missing bikes from BITD. 1979 Blue Max serial: CI9 221346 and 1977 Webco serial: 42667. Both were last seen at Spoke and Sport Bicycles in Spokane, WA around 1984. $600 reward if found!!

Re: Frame Doc still in business?
Tim had a frame of mine for a year. It required a 1 inch crack to be welded. Communication was almost nonexistent, but in his defense he has a young family, was ill at the time and had other commitments. When I received the frame back the work was excellent - you couldn't fault it.
