1984 Free Agent Freeflite

not sure of the model but ive had this bike since 1985

i worked in a polishing shop when i was in high school, my uncle was the manager at the time . i owned 3 different bikes (2 GT's, CW phase 1 Z frame ) before i found this frame sitting in a corner covered in rust and polishing compound. i asked the owner of the shop if i could have it and he laughed at me and said to get that ugly thing out of the shop. as i scrounged aruond I also found a pair of VDC bars and LANDING GEAR forks. I was stoked cause no one i rode with would be riding the same bike as me! I am glad to see someone has the same appreciation for these bikes as I have over the years, your site is great hopefully more of these jewels will be found and they will be shared with us all!!!!!

Re: 1984 Free Agent Freeflite

The F/A Free Flight WAS made by VDC, but this wasn't ever sold as a VDC product.  Still very rare and very cool.  That TRP seat post is worth some change too.

Re: 1984 Free Agent Freeflite

Oh, and if my recollection is correct, Peregrines were made by OGK.

Re: 1984 Free Agent Freeflite

This is awesome! It's definitely a great feeling to know you're riding something that stands out from the crowd... and that you'd put in the work to make it that way! :)

Re: 1984 Free Agent Freeflite

In the interview I read ,when asked about the freestyle bikes he had built ,he basically said he had forgotten about fabricating those- until he was reminded that he had....
