1994 Morales Flatland

Flatland Fugitive inspired Morales build.

Just finished building this first gen Morales. The build was inspired by the Flatland Fugitives, and their low / short bikes. I really liked how Edgar, Richard, Nate, and Mckinney used to set up their bikes, so built this along similar lines. It is not a tribute build by any means, but just a bike inspired by them.

Parts list is as follows:

Re: 1994 Morales Flatland

Never even heard of the Rob Ridge brake. It was a mod of the BOA? I always loved the feel of the BOA... this must be sublime...

Re: 1994 Morales Flatland

Rob Ridge ran a company in the UK called Reaction .. modding Acs Boas to run them with a 10mm axle and sealed bearings ... he called these modded Boas 'Megabrakes' ... they worked sweetly!

You have nailed yet another build Jon ... the Morales is one bike that I would love to have a go at cool very inspirational.

Re: 1994 Morales Flatland

I am not clear, what axle size is this bike running?  It’s beautiful

Life is short.  Spend it!  Looking for: I will PAY top dollar for a Fishbone 1-1/8 X-UFO  detangler.  Also need Hevron Haro stem.  Have mid school goodness to trade also.
