1985 CW Racing California FreeStyle
1985 CW Racing California FreeStyle
1985 2nd gen California Freestyler, re-painted white. ***Updated Pictures***
I got it as a frame and fork, had it painted white, then had a set of my chrome bars painted white to match it. I built it up with some stuff I had, but had to get a few things. I put a pretty rare CW California Freestyle stem standing platform on it, I've only seen one other that I can remember. I wanted to make this look like an earlier stock one that I saw a test on in a magazine.
* CW California Freestyle F/F
* CW California Freestyle bars
* A'Me Unitron grips
* Skyway Tuff Wheels (new)
* CW Freestyle tires NOS
* MKS Graphite pedals
* Viscount Areo seat
* Dia-Compe brakes and levers (powdered black)
* Tioga NOS Seat clamp

Fantastic bike!!! I really dig the white/black combo. The Unitrons finish it off nicely.

I'm going to turn this F/F into this one. It's looking too much like my other white one and I want a Dizz bike.

Re: 1985 CW Racing California FreeStyle
Heck yeah! Now I'll just have to find one of those sticker sets like on yours. What sucks though is that I had those exact bars in that exact color scheme but I had them made all black to go on the Ceppie bike. I really needed them for that bike, so I'm not mad about doing it, but now I need to find another.

Re: 1985 CW Racing California FreeStyle
Can I ask how you got the 72 degree head tube angle measurement? My '84/'85 Victory 1 is said to be 68-1/2 degrees. I'm trying to find out the head tube angle on VDC-made Mark 2 frames. Thanks man
