1987 Haro Master

Bound to the scrapyard by former owner brought to life.

Acquired a few years back to make an experiment build and eventually decided to drop the project until recently when the BMX bug bit me again.  Bike had many issues but I saw hope in it.

Seat mast had a hairline crack but I had it rewelded professionally. Come to find out the welder immediately knew what I had in my hand. He was like, "Wow, I remember thsee famous twin tube Haro Masters!" He told me that he used to weld for SE Bikes back in the 80's and that he always dug the Torkers and Masters. I wish I could only remember his name. It's been about 8 years since I first acquired this Master.
Originally was factory painted in the neon yellow/black scheme and I knew it was going to be a low budget build.  So I thought...lol.
Painted it in the red/black color combo because I had a few parts that I had stored to match this color set up.
Details:
1987 Haro Master,  Frame, Fork and Bars original to this bike when I acquired it.
Peregrine Super Pro sealed hubs (mint) laced to NOS 48 hole chrome Araya hoops.  I'm in the process of tightening the spokes and truing the wheels.
NOS Redline Flights (Proline) 175mm cranks with sealed bearings bottom bracket, 19mm.
NOS Tioga 44T disk.
Haro Group 1 Stem, used but in good contion.
Chrome Haro seat post.
NOS black Dominator seat.
Kenda freestyle tires, 20" X 1.75".
Most likely will be my last build guys and so I'm hoping you like it as much as I do.
Thanks for looking!
