Went out to dinner and had a draft Lagunitas IPA, tasted so good we stopped on the way home and got a 12 of Racer 5.

Lagunitas IPA is great. I love all Ninkasi IPA's out of Eugene OR as well. Alberta and BC are starting to turn out some nice IPA's too. I love a good imperial or west coast.

Re: Beer!
By the way: what's the difference between making love in a canoe and american beer?...there is none - both is franking close to water... (...please don´t take it too serious, I´m just kidding folks and quoting a Monty Python joke)
When I visited my ancestors in Canada I like to drink "Puma-beer"....which was also available as a strong beer.
Here In germany I like VELTINS and WICKÜLER most of the time.

I really have been enjoying Ballast Point stuff lately, namely stouts and porters. Great stuff.

Yankee beer is so watered down, heck I can drink a six pack and barely feel it.The good thing for them is,they sell alot more beer if you need to drink more to get pissed.

That's traditional US mass produced piss beer. There are ton of US craft and small batch Imperial and Double IPA's where 2-3 will knock you on your ass...I'm talking the 650ml big boys though

Re: Beer!
I need to drink something dark, a cream or stout or porter. I have to feel like I drank a beer and possibly ate a meal.

Used to be into the real ale but only drink Stella now. But to all you guys outside the UK you have to try banks's original. It's the smoothest beer ever, grew up on it.
