Re: GT obsession!

My best friend brought his 90 Vertigo over for some fresher parts.  Put a nice OG seat clamp, NOS seat and cheese grater with OG cranks.  We need yo know what 48 rims and hubs it came with.

Re: GT obsession!

^ nice. Cleaning up decently compared to that first pic. Did you consider an OA bath or do you think it is too far gone? Nice save on the sticker!

This Is too far gone for a bath, but will help keep it in decent shape until I am ready to strip it completely. I don't know what direction I am going with it yet, so stripping it will need to wait until I know. The price was too good to pass on, and I already had an orphan fork

Re: GT obsession!

The sticker was obviously quite old and rather dry, so I tried this on it and it worked beautifully..sprayed along the edge and let it sit for a few seconds and carefully began to peel..kept spraying in the peel(where sticker was stuck to frame) and peeled it up as the spray loosened the adhesive. I couldn't believe how well it worked! (Image deleted)
