1982 Team Mongoose

Old School Gold

This is an original frame & fork set I picked up from this site. It arrived in original survivor chrome. I took to a few rust spots up under the gussets with the emery paper and sealed with some chrome paint and polished the rest of the frame. It has a few scratches but all in all in good original condition. I fitted some good quality repo decals and a mix of survivor on new components. I'm happy with the outcome for another budget build. She rides like a dream as good as any bike around. I hope you enjoy as much as I do.
Components - Original 1982 Mongoose Chrome frame and forks; Survivor - Suntour Stem, Sugino Cranks, VP Pedals, Lay back GT Seat Post. New - Skyway Tuff II's & clear skyway pads, YST Sealed bearing BB conversion, Vicount Dyna seat, Suntour style seat clamp, DX-1000 brake caliper, braided gold cable, head set, crop saw drop out savers & gold chain ring, Izumi gold chain.

Great bike. Check out my 81. Very similar to yours. These early Geese are one of the top 5 all time BMX IMO.

Thanks Dr Mike. I checked out your 81 and a few days ago also she's a gem! I've gotta get those Velcro cable clamps for mine too
