1980 Team Mongoose

My 1980 Team survivor, chrome Mongoose Team frame and fork, Mongoose Gold stem, Redline Victory bars, Cycle Pro Jaguar seat with gold fluted post, Ashtabula Lightning hole cranks with Addicks chainring and early MKS Footjaw pedals, Gen 1 Graphite Tuff Wheel on front with a 2x1.25 Carlisle Agressor, Gold Araya with early Shimano cassete hub on the rear, early DiaCompe brake with Mathauser finned brake shoes.

this bike is so cool i think it captures what i saw in the early 1980's,me and my friends would switch wheels/tires/pads just for a change,i even would just buy one tuff wheel to run on the back as those wheels were more forgiving then my regular spoke wheel

This is a pretty close replica of the one I raced in 1978, minus the graphite tuff wheel, didn't get my first set of graphites until 79.
