Ya sorry, maybe next year we can do a live draft, but since it was last minute getting this bmx league together, doing it live was going to be tough for me. .

Something doesn't seem right. Cbssports has kC D at 26 points.

And after the int return, 32. Were there 13 sacks I wasn't aware of in the 1st qtr?

Re: BMX Fantasy Sports Pools

Never mind. I see they give you points for points and yards against, then subtract as those stats change. Seems sort of backwards.

Re: BMX Fantasy Sports Pools

A Year in Review

Season RecapAntonio Brown and moto one take the crown
Coach Gary took on all comers this season, and had what it took to prevail. Moto one finished off 2015 with a 68 to 54 victory over quadqwazy, giving them a 9 - 6 - 1 final record. Coach Gary had a hand in the impressive record, since they were the 3rd best gameday coach in the league.

When it came to coaching though, nobody was better than Coach Leo. They stood out as the best decision-maker this year, giving their squad 12 more points than the experts would have. That was 238 points better than Coach Andrew, who was the worst coach in the league. They ended up costing their team the game in week five with their lineup decisions, which were 28 points worse than the experts that week.

Coach Jamie didn't need to do a lot of coaching when it came to their wide receivers, who put up a league-leading 33.14 points per game. Brandon Marshall was the key member of that stalwart corps, scoring 175 points for North West Heavy Hitters this season. Meanwhile, Coach Andrew could only dream about good wide receiver play this year, as holeshot's wide receivers were the worst in the league, coming up with only 13.07 points per game.

Quadqwazy could have used just a little more out of their wide receivers, as they finished up in second place with a 13 - 3 record. Although they did good, quadqwazy also benefited from the 3rd easiest schedule this year (measured by points against).

.

Busted

Key Stat:
Average Top 3 Pick PPA: 49.5
Replicants Top 3 Pick PPA: -15.4

Coach Andy missed in the draft when it counted most, flubbing the first three rounds. They picked up Eddie Lacy, Latavius Murray, and Aaron Rodgers with their first three picks, which turned out to be the league's worst top trio (-15.4 Points vs. Position Average). Flubbing those key picks predicatably led to a less than stellar year, as Replicants finished with a 6 - 7 - 1 regular season record.

Nobody Does It Better

Key Stat:
Moto one: 68
quadqwazy: 54

Coach Gary took on all comers this season, and had what it took to prevail. Moto one finished off 2015 with a 68 to 54 victory over quadqwazy, giving them a 9 - 6 - 1 final record. Coach Gary had a hand in the impressive record, since they were the 3rd best gameday coach in the league.

Second Fiddle

Key Stat:
Quadqwazy: 54
moto one: 68

Quadqwazy came so close and yet were so far, winding up in second place. Their season closed with the sour note of a playoff loss to moto one, but overall they did well enough to end up with a 13 - 3 record. Although they did good, quadqwazy also benefited from the 3rd easiest schedule this year (measured by points against).

Worst In Show

Key Stat:
Average Running Back Points Per Game: 9
Rashad Jennings Points Per Game Started: 6.4

Daisy Chainss were held back by Rashad Jennings, who did more to damage his team's chances than any other running back. While in Daisy Chainss' starting lineup, Jennings fell 51.3 points short of the average running back. Jennings' worst game came in week seven, when he couldn't do any better than 1 point in a losing effort versus Kodiak Bears 2015. The bad performance of Jennings helps explain why Daisy Chainss wound up tied for 8th place during the regular season with a 5 - 9 record.

Following the Script

Key Stat:
Record Vs. Above 0.500 Teams: 1 - 7
Record Vs. Below 0.500 Teams: 4 - 2

Hobbes12 mopped up the bottom dwellers in the league, but struggled big time against top competition. Their inability to come through in tough games doomed them to a 5 - 9 regular season record. The unimpressive finish was also partially due to Hobbes12's 10th ranked running backs.

Mirror Mirror

Key Stat:
Record When Tom Brady Overperforms: 8 - 2
Record When Tom Brady Underperforms: 1 - 3

There was no better indicator of ICE's fortunes this year than the performance of Tom Brady. ICE looked unstoppable when Brady topped his projections, and hopeless when he didn't. Coach Leo got enough good efforts from Brady to wind up at 10 - 5.

Stacked

Key Stat:
Average WR Points/Week: 25.4
North West Heavy Hitters WR Points/Week: 33.1

North West Heavy Hitters got big efforts from their wide receivers, who put up a best-in-the-league 33.14 points per game. Brandon Marshall was the leader of that pack, scoring 175 points for North West Heavy Hitters this season. The strong wide receiver group helps explain why North West Heavy Hitters finished up tied for the 4th best regular season record in the league at 8 - 6.

Even-Keeled

Key Stat:
TEAM OX Top 3 Players PPA: 56.5
TEAM OX 4-6 Players PPA: 33.2

It was all for one and one for all with TEAM OX this season, as they ended up with the most balanced lineup in the league. Unfortunately, this was more due to their top players not doing so well. Graham Gano, Thomas Rawls, and Russell Wilson posted 56.5 Points Vs Positional Average (PPA) while in the starting lineup this year, one of the worst marks in the league. Their next three best players, the Jets Defense/ST, Steve Smith, and Nick Folk, finished up at +33.2 PPA.

Trying New Things

Key Stat:
Average Number of Starters: 25.9
dc1 Starters: 34

Like a fashionista picking out shoes or an oenophile picking a fine wine, Coach David just could not decide who to start from day to day. Dc1 had more starters than any other team, putting 34 different players into the lineup over the course of the regular season. Overall, dc1 finished in 4th place during the regular season with a record of 8 - 6.

Better Luck Next Year

Key Stat:
Average Team Points per Game (reg. season): 89.3
Holeshot Points per Game (reg. season): 66.5

There's always next year for Coach Andrew. This year, however, holeshot wound up in last place in the overall standings at 3 - 11. The bad record can be attributed to bad coaching, as Coach Andrew was the worst gameday coach in the league.
