You're dedication and hard work are most impressive.  That's passion.  You should jump on a BMX/Skate tour.  Raise awareness of the sport's roots and heroes. Keep up the good work.  Hope to see it around.

I still have it . big_smile  The warp was out at a show in milwaukee this pased year .
I have since sold all the orignal bike from the orignal build sad . It was very hard to let the last 3 go
I am currently working on new builds for the display.

It has been a very bumpy road to keep it . I hope to have it out to a few shows in 2010
Thanks
for your interest in the Warp cool

Re: Introducing Rad Rich's Bmx Time Warp

So let me get this right...you drive around in a little trailer full of bikes charging people $1 each to look at the bikes and hear your "Glory Days" stories? Well, I guess it's better than a meth habit. I personally would have tried to be more professional on the lettering rather than using some kind of generic stencils.
But anyway good luck. I wish you well in teaching the "young guns" where freestyle all started.

not to agree with him because i dont, but i too think some art on the side of the trailer would help.

i'd would check with local wrappers (they wrap the storm chaser news trucks and what not)
i'd think a partial wrap would be pretty cheap because the trailer has flat sides.
(IIRC, a full van wrap, like a news van, is 1,000 bucks)

if you cant afford a wrap, get some sponsors.. like maybe bmxmuseum or prokchops.
i bet even a thread here on you needing funds to do a wrap would get you lots of donations.

its a very cool idea and i hope you do very well with it. good luck to you !!!

it would be really, really cool to see this at the redline cup in weaver alabama, may 1st smile
http://www.weaverbmx.com/

i would gladly pay a buck to go into that thing !!!!

Re: Introducing Rad Rich's Bmx Time Warp

I don't understand what your goal is?  If it was just for fun that's great but refinancing your house to do it?  Why didn't you get a business plan together and atleast get some loan money and make it a side business opportunity out of it?  $1 a visit won't do you much.  I agree with the full wrap graphics and maybe get a couple of quarter pipes with a couple of riders with old school bikes and do an old school show for some money or something at an event or nearby festival.  Just a thought.  How big is the trailer?  smile

Re: Introducing Rad Rich's Bmx Time Warp

I will have to come by and check it out when it is back together.
I have never met you Rich, but your name has come up several times around the Milwaukee area during bike purchases. 1 guy had nothing but great things to say about you and 4 people did not. A few weeks ago I went to purchase a few parts and 3 guys were ready to beat my a$$. Seriously, it was dark out and they surrounded me! After seeing my face, I was allowed to live.lol They thought for sure that I was you by the way my emails were worded. Again, I don't know what happened in the past, but I am glad my name is not Rich.big_smile

Re: Introducing Rad Rich's Bmx Time Warp

I've met Rich a whole bunch of times. Raced him, Hung with him. Cool cat.

Really knows his BMX and STILL loves to ride,

I can't imagine ANYONE having a problem with him.

But hey, some people think I'M an a-hole. So what does that say...big_smile
