Re: NHL

I like the blus jackets.  They Play the wings pretty tough.  Other than the wings I like Pitt.  They are young and play hard.  Mointreal is the team to beat though.

Re: NHL

i must say the last month being able to watch my red wings, in michigan ,with my old friends, has been a blast! i think osgood should have gotten the conn smythe trophy, i guess they figure he doesn't see enough shots. some people would say it's harder seeing just a few shots, you don't get in a rythem. anyways zetterberg is a friend of a friend so we are happy for him. honestly though osgood is the rodney dangerfield of goalies "no respect", they'll probably cut him.

Re: NHL

Sorry Marcos, but I can't give the sweep to Detroit. Columbus' goaltending is better than Detroit's. I do however have Detroit and Boston in the finals with Detroit winning in 7.

Re: NHL

Bump for the Wings!
I'm glad they avoided the Ducks in the first round, the coast to coast travel is a killer as the playoffs grind on.

I think the fact that they didn't have to go any farther than Dallas last year played a big factor in them winning the cup.

This is very disturbing news! I do agree with the goaltending issue though. They need to lock up a goalie for the future. At least we locked up Zetterberg and Franzen to long term deals. Hossa is next! GO WINGS!!!!

Re: NHL

Yea, we have to live with the shame of the worst pro football organization in the history of the NFL.
Its only fair that the Wings are good!

btw- If, and when I say if I really mean When, the Lions blow the #1 pick on Stafford I'm gonna cry.
Thats a $70,000,000 contract gonna go to a guy whos no better than Joey Harrington mad
Yep, theres a reason why the Lions always suck so bad...

By the time they get to the second round (which they most likely will), the Flames will have beaten the hell out of them. Look for them to lose that round.

Could be......the Flames look strong.
But it's been awhile since the Hawks made the playoffs so I'm trying to be optimistic.
I still don't understand how Wisconsin doesn't have a hockey team yikes yet there is NHL teams all over the south(hey at least we get effing snow....I don't see any snow in Florida or Cali).I know Milwaukee could support another pro team.
Oh well until then I'll keep rooting for the Hawks.

We keep saying the same kinds of things here in Canada. Why is there not another team in Canada? Where each team sells out nearly every game? Bettman can go and suck it long and hard....

Re: NHL

California has half as many teams as the whole country of Canada. And two of them are in SoCal! At least it gets "cool" in San Jose!!!
