2014 SE Racing Floval Flyer XL 24

Gold Black and Scaring the neighbor kids

Picked up the frame from our buddy Ed at Planet bmx for a song. Stole several parts off my So Cal Flyer, and a couple off my 24" TA to make this new daily ride. I love my old schools but these modern bikes ride so nice, especially the XL version for my 6'-1" self. The few parts I bought I tried to think light, and it feels pretty good even with the Skyway Graphites on it. Would like to save up for a nice set of 24" spoke wheels in the future and lighten it up even more.

Me too, been riding the bajesus out of it already. Wish it was an xxl and a little lighter, but other than that it feels great. I had planned on trying out some Jet Fuel finish parts, mainly a stem, seat post clamp, and a chainwheel, but those only come it a 25th for a 22mm spindle. Cant find anything under a 16th freewheel anymore for these tuff wheels, so kinda stuck with a bigger chainwheel. Oh well, just thought I could be like the cool kids, but maybe next time

Re: 2014 SE Racing Floval Flyer XL 24

7 years later finally made the changes Ive been wanting to try. Swapped the tuff wheels over to where they belong anyway, on my 24” Skyway, and stole the bars off my 2014 PK Elite and man oh man this is a new bike. So so SOOO much lighter. I thought my graphite tuffs were lighter than they are. They are boat anchors and gonna make my Skyway a tank bike. Oh well, I love this thing all over again now…and yes I’ll drop the post if on a track…
