2003 Specialized S-Works ST

Rare Reynolds 853 tubing. Only year made. USA built.

Basically identical to the S-Works 'Dirt' of the same year. Frames were so expensive, they hardly sold any, nor was an S-Works build available from the factory. This one ended up at Supergo, with a reduced price of $500 (from the MSRP of $1000) where I worked as a mech at the time, so I nabbed it (and a few others) for $100/ea. Sent it to my brother in UT, where it sat in his garage, and then a LBS for a decade, waiting to be built. Finally had it shipped back to me, and completed the build last weekend.
Tried to keep the parts list appropriate to the age and style of the frame. Couldn't resist putting carbon Skyways on though, they look so cool with this frame.Profile Racing: American BB, Racing Cranks, 44T 'Imperial' ring, '40' stem, 8.5" handlebar. White Industries 16T ENO freewheel. Odyssey EvoII brakes, front and rear with gyro. Odyssey F25 fork. Trying to track down period Specialized flat pedals.
