Re: Made In ITALY

I like the rear delta brake, I guess you can only get that reach with those rims, a rim with a larger width may be out of the Delta's "bite" range. Also the diameter of the larger rim width would be smaller and out of the Delta's width. I think it looks unique and great as set up and I would keep Delta brake if it means keeping the skinnies. Back in the day, the recommended rim was Nisi sew ups which were also super skinny, so your set up is not so out of place. What hubs are you running and what pedals?

Re: Made In ITALY

Hubs are just Sunshine and I had some NOS Suntour XC Compe mtb pedals so I put those on as the original Tioga Surefoot II pedals look better on another bike
Not period correct but I think they still look nice

I got it from the original owner who bought it new in the early eighties as a frame for one of his sons to race. It didn't end up being used much and has been stored for over thirty years along with all of his own race bikes from more than fifty years of road and track racing...some of which are now mine
The oldest being a nineteen sixties Cinelli track bike which is worth big money to collectors...which probably won't mean a thing to members here smile

Hi all

New to BMX (as a grown-up), I'm mainly a vintage road and track bike enthusiast but in a recent haul of bikes I got this Cinelli MX.1 (along with a sweet Redline)
I know the tires are too skinny but they're all I've got right now...I'm on the lookout for 20x1 3/8 with skinwall

http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc14 … yeet77.jpg

That is awesome

Zoom in on the rear drop outs and also the stem, unreal. Love seeing different countries take on how to engineer/build items.

Awesome, thank you!!

That was exactly the picture I wanted to see.
Thought the head tube was a stepper angle, as per the first picture.

Is the fork supposed to have that much rake??

Gnarly is when it's beyond radical, it's balls out danger, & or perfection, & or skill or all of that combined. Nobody can shred like that guy, he's gnarly.                                        \m/  ( º . º )  \m/

None quite as exotic as a Laser but the one of them is a 'funny bike' with Soviet kevlar disc wheels which looks pretty radical

I would love to post up pics but I don't want to pollute this forum with off-topic photos (the Suntour pedals were already breaking the rules)
