Great looking Master.....I still think the best bikes ever are the 85 and 86 Master.

Re: 1986 Haro Master
Finally updated the pics. One of my favorites, though I tend to like the 87/88's the best.
Picked this one up from Dansharos

Re: 1986 Haro Master
I agree that it looks just like in the ads in 86. There are a few 85's that are mint or NOS but not too many 86's around in this original condition. Great bike.

You know I'd trade you an 87-88 for this

Re: 1986 Haro Master
I didn't notice your levers were blue.
Vert-ego.com has the levers in chrome. I believe you need Tech 5's.

Re: 1986 Haro Master
Matt, surely you jest! Kidding of course. I do like the 87/88's but as you know, a lot of us always wanted a couple from the 85/86 era as well. I think I'm done buying bikes for awhile. I should have my 3 projects finished in 2 months. Just waiting on paint and powder. All parts are in.
Crowe-t, thanks for the tip on the levers. Can't believe I forgot about that site. Just went on and bought them. I'm sure someone can use the blue Tech 5's I have on it now.

Re: 1986 Haro Master
07CARRERA, which levers did you buy, the black/chrome or the all chrome?

Re: 1986 Haro Master
I went with the all chrome. The black clamp just doesn't go with the rest of the color scheme on the bike.

Re: 1986 Haro Master
Also updated photos on this one as well. This used to have blue tires, blue brake levers and white seat. Since I already have one in that color, I wanted to mix it up a little with some green.

Re: 1986 Haro Master
My favorite bike of all time! this pic was of the day I got mine and it had blue levers. This was March of 86 too. Interesting.
Anyway that is a great build you got there!
