From what I was told locally(and this might be just another one of my stories)that Jay's nickname was due to his quick short fused temper.Proof of that was when he got into a fight with team mate Dave Mirra when he was on Haro.
Since you're a big fan of Jay's,you can now purchase custom funiture he makes.Really, that's cool. I appreciate all forms of craftsmanship. Is that true?
True as in makes furniture now? Yes he does. His shop is located within a 10 minute drive from where I'm at.
Cool. I like working in that medium too

Wasn't it going to be called the Crusher? I remember being disappointed when he left HB, I was planning on getting one. The Schwinn frame just wasn't the same... No bottle opener feature....

Sell? His personal frame, the only one of its kind? With significant sentimental value attached? Unlikely... I just want to see the frame properly photographed and documented!

Re: HOFFMAN JAY MIRON "PUNISHER". ANYONE KNOW ITS WHERE ABOUTS.
Does anyone know what the dimensions were/are? I don't remember them being released in the media. I thought the idea was to make a bike shorter than the Condor but longer than the Big Daddy, but that leaves a lot of room though.

Re: HOFFMAN JAY MIRON "PUNISHER". ANYONE KNOW ITS WHERE ABOUTS.
That's about all that was officially written in BMX Plus! back in the day, almost exactly as you said it. "Longer than the BD, shorter than the Condor."
I would imagine that Miron's Torque Flight from Schwinn is very much the same geo. But that's a guess. And I wonder how different the Torque Flight is from the Canadian Beast, and how different that is from the firs Macneil Miron...

Having glasses has its advantages... you can walk into a party full of girls who are 6's and 7's, take your glasses off and they instantly become 8's and 9's
