2006 Haro Backtrail X1

Rider For the Wify

I was looking for a nice rider for my wife so we can take the kids out riding on those nice summer days as a family.
Got talking with a co-worker about my builds I have done, and was doing with my GT, and Hoffman's, and they mentioned of getting rid of this Haro they had. So one day after work I went, and took a peak at it. It was complete, and needed some tender care, stampings on it were Haro, but I didn't know what model it was since I wasn't familiar with Haro past '98/'99 models.
I ended picking it up dirt cheap. Once I got it home my wife was like...."Is that mine!!!??? It looks ghetto!"  I told here I can make it something nice. So we went threw pictures here on the museum for some colours she would like. Some paint, new decals of her choice, and some parts I got off a few members here, and this Haro is turned out to be something.
A rags to riches story I guess you can say.

Re: 2006 Haro Backtrail X1

Thank you. The yellow really does suit it. I'm glad my wife picked that colour, i think it turned out pretty sweet.... even though i'm not a huge yellow fan. But this thing does scream look at me compared to my chrome builds i have done LOL!

I updated the pics. It is now 99.0% complete. Just need the proper 3/16 freewheel, then it's 100% done.
I definitely tried to keep that midschool feel with it with choosing parts,  even though my wife won't ride it like it was built to be LOL.
